erou retinal detachment and cytoid macular edema in hypotony maculopathy

PURPOE: To report the foveal tructural finding of hypotony maculopathy imaged with optical coherence tomography. METHOD: Cae report of a 39-year-old white woman with a 20 year hitory of uveiti, who underwent par plana vitrectomy and par plana Baerveldt implant for intractable glaucoma. Four month potoperatively, decreaed viion and hypotony maculopathy enued. Optical coherence tomographic (OCT) image were taken horizontally through the macula. REULT: OCT demontrated large intraretinal cyt, erou macular detachment, and choroidal fold, which reolved upon reolution of hypotony. CONCLUION: Cytic macular change and erou macular detachment can be prominent feature of hypotony maculopathy.
