ame eye recurrence of acute retinal necroi yndrome

PURPOE: To report ame eye recurrence of acute retinal necroi yndrome. METHOD: Two cae report. REULT: Acute retinal necroi yndrome recurred in the left eye of a 60-year-old man 13 year after the initial epiode, and recurred in the right eye of a 49-year-old woman 8 year after the initial epiode. The recurrent necrotic leion developed in normal appearing retina, unrelated to the location of the previou leion. The recurrent leion were uccefully treated with acyclovir. CONCLUION: Patient with acute retinal necroi yndrome hould be followed becaue of poible recurrence not only in the other eye but alo in the ame eye.
