Abstract
PURPOE: To decribe central erou chorioretinopathy after bone marrow tranplantation.
METHOD: The medical record of the patient were reviewed retropectively.
REULT: A 46-year-old Filipino man developed multifocal central erou chorioretinopathy affecting hi left eye 4 month after bone marrow tranplantation for acute myelogenou leukemia. Other co-exiting medical problem at the time of preentation included ytemic hypertenion and graft-veru-hot-dieae (GVHD), for which the patient wa uing both ytemic corticoteroid and cycloporine.
CONCLUION: Central erou chorioretinopathy i a rare caue of viion lo in patient after bone marrow tranplantation. Previou decription of bone marrow tranplantation-aociated central erou chorioretinopathy in patient with thrombotic microangiopathy, a well a the occurrence of both ytemic hypertenion and the ue of ytemic corticoteroid and cycloporine in our patient with bone marrow tranplantation-aociated central erou chorioretinopathy, upport theorie of choroidal vacular compromie in the pathogenei of central erou chorioretinopathy
