METHOD: Cae report.
REULT: A 77-year-old white man preented with decreaed viion of 20/400 due to ubfoveal predominantly occult CNV econdary to age-related macular degeneration in the left eye. The CNV, meauring 9 Macular Photocoagulation tudy dik area in ize, wa centered temporally relative to the fovea with a minimum deired tranlocation of 650 μm for naal macular tranlocation. The patient underwent naal LMT with punctate retinotomy and temporal choriocleral infolding, followed by potoperative head-poitioning on hi right ide. Effective LMT wa achieved with a potoperative naal foveal diplacement of 1400 μm. The entire CNV wa ablated with laer photocoagulation potoperatively. Hi viion improved to 20/40 6 month potoperatively.
