Maquerade yndrome: T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia preenting a panuveiti

PURPOE: To report a cae of T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia with panuveiti a the primary preenting feature. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: A 46-year-old woman preented with pain and blurred viion in the right eye. he wa found to have ign of panuveiti with a central exudative retinal detachment. Further invetigation revealed that he wa uffering from the rare T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia. Both ytemic and ocular manifetation of the dieae reolved after chemotherapy with Campath-IH antigen and a he went into complete remiion. The exudative detachment ettled, and viual acuity recovered to 20/20. CONCLUION: Thi cae illutrate that leukemia can preent with primarily ocular finding, and the udden appearance of a erou retinal detachment with inflammatory ign in an otherwie healthy peron warrant a thorough ytemic creening for an underlying malignancy
