  • Abstract
    PURPOE: To report a cae of optic tract compreion caued by a dolichoectatic bailar artery DEIGN: Obervational cae report. METHOD: A 74-year-old man with progreive lo of viion over 13 year and no other neurologic ign or ymptom wa found to have bilateral optic nerve head pallor and a left homonymou hemianopia. REULT: Magnetic reonance imaging and angiography revealed a evere dolichoectatic bailar artery compreing the right optic tract. CONCLUION: Bailar artery dolichoectaia may rarely caue compreion of the optic tract and progreive viual lo.
