Poterior ichemic optic neuropathy after uncomplicated cataract extraction

PURPOE: We report a cae of poterior ichemic optic neuropathy after uncomplicated cataract extraction. DEIGN: Obervational cae report METHOD: Retropective decription of the natural coure of poterior ichemic optic neuropathy in one patient een at an academic intitution. REULT: The patient had udden viion lo after uncomplicated cataract urgery with the feature of an optic neuropathy, no acute dik welling, and delayed optic nerve head perfuion on fluorecein angiography. CONCLUION: Poterior ichemic optic neuropathy rarely occur after uncomplicated cataract urgery, and hould be conidered in the etting of potoperative viion lo.
