Laer in itu keratomileui in eye with inactive herpetic keratiti

PURPOE: To evaluate the afety and outcome of laer in itu keratomileui in eye with inactive herpetic keratiti. METHOD: Propective, interventional cae erie. In three eye of three patient with inactive unilateral herpetic keratiti for a minimum period of 1 year, laer in itu keratomileui wa performed. Oral and topical acyclovir were precribed perioperatively. No topical teroid were precribed. REULT: Preoperatively, all three eye had corneal tromal car with induced atigmatim in two eye and central tromal car in one eye with bet-corrected viual acuity of 20/120, 20/25, and 20/50, repectively. Potoperatively, the three eye achieved uncorrected viual acuity of 20/20, 20/20, and 20/50, repectively, with decreaed corneal car. None of the patient developed herpetic keratiti reactivation during a minimum follow-up of 6 month. CONCLUION: Laer in itu keratomileui wa afe and effective in the treatment of refractive error and corneal car in three eye of three patient with inactive herpetic keratiti.
