Clinical application of living-related conjunctival-limbal allograft

PURPOE: To report one ucceful cae of conjunctival-limbal allograft for the treatment of a evere ocular urface diorder. METHOD: Interventional cae report. A 9-year-old patient uffering from teven–Johnon yndrome with total keratinization of the ocular urface of both eye wa treated in the left eye by corneal and conjunctival tem cell tranplantation. Oral cycloporin A and topical autologou erum and corticoteroid were adminitered. REULT: Mucoal epithelial phenotype wa maintained in the left eye at mot recent examination for more than 3 year after ocular urface recontruction. CONCLUION: A total keratinized ocular urface may be treated with the combination of conjunctival and corneal tem cell tranplantation.
