Abstract
PURPOE: To report an unuual manifetation of anterior polar cataract.
METHOD: Obervational cae report. A 35-year-old woman preented with localized inferior corneal edema aociated with a white nodular leion on the iri. The anterior len capule wa deficient centrally with crolled edge and an underlying ubcapular opacity. The nodule wa removed urgically and ubjected for hitopathologic examination.
REULT: The hitopathologic examination of the white nodular leion howed parallel collagen fiber that were poitive for collagen on the Maon trichrome tain. Correlating with clinical feature, thee finding were uggetive of dilocated anterior polar cataract.
CONCLUION: Anterior pyramidal cataract may dilocate pontaneouly and preent a an anterior chamber foreign body and may even lead to corneal endothelial cell lo
