PURPOE: To decribe a cae of pontaneou retrobulbar hemorrhage in type IV Ehler-Danlo yndrome, a diorder characterized by vacular fragility and aociated evere bleeding problem. METHOD: Obervational cae report. pontaneou unilateral retrobulbar hemorrhage in a 22-year-old man with type IV Ehler-Danlo yndrome wa documented by clinical and radiographic examination. REULT: The retrobulbar hemorrhage wa elf-limited and reolved without viual equelae. CONCLUION: pontaneou retrobulbar hemorrhage hould be recognized a part of the pectrum of type IV Ehler-Danlo yndrome, and clinician mut be alert to diagnoi and treatment of thi viion-threatening problem.
