pontaneou regreion of retinal atrocytic hamartoma in a patient with tuberou cleroi

PURPOE: To report the complete regreion of a retinal atrocytic hamartoma in conjunction with tuberou cleroi. DEIGN: Obervational cae report. METHOD: A 12-year-old boy with tuberou cleroi, diagnoed early in life, wa found to have a retinal atrocytic hamartoma in hi left eye. He had bilateral optic atrophy becaue of long-tanding increaed intracranial preure due to a cerebral giant cell atrocytoma. He wa followed on a yearly bai with fundu photography and fluorecein angiography. REULT: At the time of initial preentation, the minimally elevated intraretinal tumor meaured 2 × 1.5 mm. A year later, the ame tumor meaured 1.5 × 1 mm. Two year after initial preentation, the tumor totally diappeared. CONCLUION: Thi patient ha demontrated that retinal atrocytic hamartoma may undergo pontaneou regreion.
