uturele contact len ring ytem during vitrectomy

PURPOE: To report a new uturele ring ytem to fix corneal contact len in place during vitrectomy. DEIGN: New urgical intrument. METHOD: The uturele ring ytem conit of a tainle teel ring that ha two upright tab 180 degree apart with a hook on the top and two elatic ilicone band 8 mm in diameter to fix the ring to the eyelid peculum. REULT: The contact len fixed in place with the uturele ring wa table and allowed intraoperative viualization of the fundu. CONCLUION: Thi uture-free contact len ytem facilitate viualization of the fundu during vitrectomy allowing horter urgical time. It alo enable u to avoid additional trauma aociated with the len ring fixation procedure.
