Abstract
PURPOE: To decribe bilateral conjunctival chemoi and central erou chorioretinopathy in a patient with graft-v-hot dieae after bone marrow tranplant.
DEIGN: Interventional cae report.
METHOD: A 45-year-old Chinee woman developed blurring of viion 16 day after bone marrow tranplant for multiple myeloma. he had graft-v-hot dieae 11 day after bone marrow tranplantation. On examination, viion wa 0.6 in the right eye and 0.3 in the left eye. Bilateral conjunctival chemoi and multiple central erou chorioretinopathy were preent.
REULT: Treatment of graft-v-hot dieae with high-doe ytemic corticoteroid and cycloporin led to the reolution of the conjunctival chemoi and central erou chorioretinopathy 3 month later. Viual acuity improved to 0.8 in both eye.
CONCLUION: Choroidal infiltrate in graft-v-hot dieae may contribute to choroidal hyperpermeability, which lead to the development of central erou chorioretinopathy in potbone marrow tranplant patient.
