Meectodermal leiomyoma excluively involving the poterior choroid

PURPOE: To report a meectodermal leiomyoma of the poterior choroid. DEIGN: Obervational cae report. METHOD: A 23-year-old man wa referred to u becaue of a progreive blurred viion in hi left eye. Ophthalmologic examination revealed the preence of a 12 × 10 × 7.2-mm amelanotic choroidal ma in hi left poterior pole. Fluorecein angiography, A-can ultraonography, and B-can echography finding were uggetive for a diagnoi of choroidal amelanotic melanoma. Thee clinical feature prompted u to enucleate the left eye. REULT: Hitopathological and immunohitochemitry examination etablihed a definitive diagnoi of meectodermal leiomyoma of the poterior choroid. CONCLUION: Thi cae repreent the firt report decribing the occurrence of an intraocular meectodermal leiomyoma that may excluively involve the poterior choroid.
