Abstract :
Purpoe
To report the reliability of the glaucoma dik damage likelihood cale (DDL) in comparion to the Armaly cup/dik ratio by determining the interoberver and intraoberver agreement for optic dik tereo photograph and the interoberver agreement for in vivo patient meaurement of the optic dik.
Deign
Obervational cae erie.
Method
Optic dik photograph: 48 tereo pair of optic nerve photograph were elected from patient with a pectrum of glaucomatou viual field lo. Two maked oberver graded the optic dik photograph three time according to the DDL and Armaly cup/dik ratio. Interoberver and intraoberver agreement were calculated uing the tet–retet method. Patient meaurement: three oberver performed in vivo patient meaurement on 34 eye of glaucoma clinic patient and made a ingle determination of the DDL tage and Armaly cup/dik ratio, baed on the indirect biomicrocopic examination. Level of interoberver agreement wa tabulated.
Reult
Optic dik photograph: interoberver and intraoberver agreement for the vertical DDL meaurement wa greater than for two determination (clinical impreion and meaured) of the vertical Armaly cup/dik ratio (interoberver: 85% v 68% and 74%, repectively; intraoberver grader 1: 97% v 89% and 80%, grader 2: 99% v 95% and 89%, repectively). In vivo patient meaurement: the interoberver agreement for the DDL and Armaly cup/dik ratio wa imilar (70.1% v 67.6%, repectively).
Concluion
For the tereo optic dik photograph, the inter- and intra-oberver agreement for the DDL i greater than the Armaly cup/dik ratio. For the in vivo patient meaurement, the level of agreement for the DDL and the Armaly cup/dik ratio i imilar.
