Purpoe To report the clinical finding and management of a cae of endogenou endophthalmiti in a patient with bacterial endocarditi preenting with a eptic metatai to the iri. Deign Obervational cae report. Method Review of clinical finding and treatment. Reult A 37-year-old intravenou drug uer hopitalized with bacterial endocarditi econdary to methicillin-enitive taphylococcu aureu bacteremia preented with a painful red left eye, hypopyon, and iri abce. Roth pot were noted in the fundu of the right eye. Aqueou culture wa poitive for methicillin-enitive aureu. The patient wa treated with intravitreal, topical, and intravenou antibiotic. The hypopyon and iri abce reolved within 2 week, and the patient achieved a final viual acuity of 20/25 in the left eye. Concluion eptic metatai to the iri i a rare occurrence.
