Retinal angioma in a patient with Cowden dieae

Purpoe To report a rare cae of ocular localization of Cowden dieae. Deign Cae report. Method A 50-year-old woman with a hitory of multiple tumor wa diagnoed with Cowden dieae. A PTEN gene mutation wa found. Viual acuity of the left eye had decreaed 2 year before diagnoi. Reult Viual acuity wa 20/20 in the right eye and 20/200 in the left eye. Right eye fundu examination howed an epiretinal membrane aociated with a peripheral and temporal inferior angiomatou leion. Treatment conited of cryoapplication and urgical removal of the epiretinal membrane after central vitrectomy. Although the anatomic reult wa atifactory, the patient’ viual acuity remained unchanged. Concluion Hamartomatou ocular leion have been decribed in Cowden dieae. We are unaware, however, of uch retinal angiomatou leion in patient with PTEN gene mutation.
