Abstract :
Purpoe
To report a patient with uveal effuion and intermittent angle-cloure glaucoma aociated with primary pulmonary hypertenion.
Method
Obervational cae report.
Reult
A 78-year-old woman with primary pulmonary hypertenion noticed pain and decreaed viion in her right eye. Ocular examination dicloed exceive dilation of conjunctival and epicleral vein and uveal effuion with annular ciliochoroidal detachment in both eye. The right eye revealed corneal edema with fold in the Decemet membrane, congeted iri veel, and a markedly hallow anterior chamber with a partially cloed angle, correponding to a recent attack of angle-cloure glaucoma. ytemic treatment of her congetive heart failure with an angiotenin-II receptor antagonit reulted in a partial reolution of the uveal effuion and complete normalization of the anterior chamber depth.
Concluion
Primary pulmonary hypertenion may caue uveal effuion, leading to a forward diplacement of the len-iri diaphragm and intermittent angle-cloure glaucoma.
