ubmacular urgery for choroidal neovacularization econdary to optic nerve druen

Purpoe To report a cae of bilateral choroidal neovaularization (CNV) econdary to optic nerve druen (OND). Deign Interventional cae report. Method A 9-year-old girl preented with peripapillary CNV of the right eye and peripapillary and ubfoveal CNV of the left eye econdary to OND. The CNV wa excied with ubmacular urgery in the left eye. Reult Viual acuity increaed from 0.05 to 0.3 in the left eye after ubmacular urgery and did not change from 0.3 in the right eye during 6-month follow-up. Partial retinal pigment epithelial atrophy, but no recurrence of CNV, wa oberved after CNV exciion. Concluion ubfoveal CNV i an uncommon complication of OND and urgical exciion may be ueful in elected cae.
