Early macular hole with retinochii in highly myopic eye

Purpoe We preent two cae with early macular hole (MH) complicated by retinochii and foveal detachment (RFD). Deign Cae report. Cae report A 46-year-old woman and a 70-year-old woman, both with high myopia, preented viual lo and a mall MH aociated with RFD. Vitrectomy and ga tamponade were performed. However, both MH enlarged potoperatively, reulting in progreive retinal detachment. Additional ga tamponade led to retinal reattachment. At the final viit, the MH wa open in cae 1 but cloed in cae 2. Concluion Although the benefit of vitrectomy i uncertain, RFD and MH can be aociated in highly myopic eye.
