Punctal-canalicular tenoi aociated with mitomycin-C for corneal epithelial dyplaia

Purpoe To report a cae of punctal-canalicular tenoi after topical mitomycin C ue for corneal dyplaia. To the author’ knowledge, thi aociation ha not previouly been decribed. Deign Obervational cae report. Method A 62-year-old woman wa noted to have a right inferotemporal corneal dyplatic leion. he received a topical coure of mitomycin-C 0.04% four time a day, which ubequently invoked a toxoallergic reaction. One month later, the patient developed right-ided epiphora. Reult Probing demontrated complete tenoi of the right lower canaliculu, 5 mm from the punctum. Concluion Mitomycin-C ue may lead to lacrimal apparatu fibroi and ymptomatic epiphora when inciting a toxoallergic reaction
