A conjunctival leiomyom

Purpoe To report a conjunctival leiomyoma. Deign Obervational cae report. Method A 35-year-old man wa referred to u for evaluation of a leion in hi left eye. The leion had been preent for 1 year but had recently caued irritation. Ophthalmologic examination revealed an elevated ma in the epiclera. There wa no aociated conjunctival/epicleral injection. Ocular examination wa otherwie entirely normal. An exciional biopy wa performed. Reult The hitopathologic and immunohitochemitry examination etablihed the diagnoi of a conjunctival leiomyoma. Concluion Thi cae repreent the firt report, known to date, decribing the occurrence of a conjunctival leiomyoma.
