Unilateral uveiti induced by a nonionic iodinated contrat agent

Purpoe To report recurrent unilateral uveiti after computed tomography (CT) enhanced by the contrat agent iopamidol. Deign Obervational cae report. Method A 44-year-old man with a hitory of mixed-cellularity Hodgkin lymphoma, tage I B (axillar, infraclavicular, ubpectoral lymphoma) wa under remiion after chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The contrat-enhanced CT can performed every 3 month were within hour followed by a marked unilateral anterior uveiti, vitriti, and retinal bleeding. ymptom reolved with topical corticoteroid treatment within a week. Reult We oberved recurrent unilateral uveiti after intravenouly application of 150 ml of iopamidol for contrat-enhanced CT can in a patient with lymphoma in remiion. Concluion Iopamidol may induce uveiti under certain circumtance. We ugget a coincidence of immunologic mechanim with predipoing dicrete vacular radiation damage.
