Purpoe To decribe the repone from multifocal electroretinography in branch retinal vein occluion. Deign Propective obervational cae control erie. Method Multifocal electroretinography wa recorded in 15 patient with temporal branch retinal vein occluion and 21 control ubject uing a viual evoked repone imaging ytem. Reult There were ignificant difference in mean amplitude (P = .01) and latency (P = .001) between thrombotic and nonthrombotic retina in the ame eye, a well a in patient compared with control ubject. Concluion Repone from multifocal electroretinography demontrate retinal dyfunction in branch retinal vein occluion; additional tudie will demontrate whether multifocal electroretinography ha a prognotic value.
