Purpoe To decribe a cae of Peudomona aeruginoa epticemia complicated by orbital celluliti, panophthalmiti, and ecthyma gangrenoum. Deign Obervational cae report. Method An immunouppreed 62-year-old man developed an unuual kin rah and a painful, wollen right eye with decreaed viion. He had myelodyplatic yndrome and P. aeruginoa epticemia. The kin rah manifeted a ecthyma gangrenoum. Metatatic orbital celluliti and panophthalmiti wa diagnoed. Reult Depite intravitreal and topical gentamicin, the patient eventually required enucleation. Concluion Thi cae repreent a rare combination of event: an immunocompromied man developed pneumonia, P. aeruginoa epticemia, and endogenou eeding of the Peudomona to the kin, orbit, and eye. Early recognition of endogenou ophthalmic dieae i imperative. The prognoi of combined orbital celluliti and panophthalmiti i poor.
