Purpoe To evaluate an autoclavable elf-tabilizing wide-angle contact len for vitrectomy. Deign Obervational tudy. Method The wide-angle contact len ha two len piece within a high temperature-reitant (150 C) platic caing. The inferior len with footplate i made of acrylic and the uperior of gla. During urgery the len i ued a the elf-tabilizing wide-angle contact len with improved tability on the eye. Reult The len enable the urgeon to addre the peripheral retina with le dependence on the aitant. The len i terilizable by autoclaving. The field of view of the wide-angle len i 106 degree tatic and 127 degree dynamic view. Concluion The autoclavable elf-tabilizing wide-angle len reduce the cot and time for terilization.
