Method A 48-year-old healthy woman with a hitory of 3-week painful corneal ulcer of left eye wa treated with enucleation. Reult The hitopathology of enucleated eye revealed endophthalmiti and ulcerative keratiti with numerou hyphae in full-thickne of corneal troma. The culture identification of the cauative organim wa Pythium inidioum. The final diagnoi wa ocular pythioi. Concluion Pythium inidioum i a cauative agent of pythioi and i ditributed worldwide. Ocular pythioi may not be uncommon, a it may be underdiagnoed due to unfamiliarity among clinician and microbiologit. Diagnoi of pythioi i difficult.
