Abstract
Purpoe
To evaluate the efficacy of laer photocoagulation of indocyanine green angiographically identified feeder veel to idiopathic polypoidal choroidal vaculopathic leion.
Deign
Interventional cae erie.
Method
Fifteen eye of 14 conecutive patient with idiopathic polypoidal choroidal vaculopathy leion treated by laer photocoagulation of indocyanine green angiographically identified feeder veel were invetigated.
Reult
In 10 of the 15 eye, erou retinal detachment of enory retina in the macula diappeared after photocoagulation of the feeder veel. The bet-corrected viual acuity improved by 2 or more line in eight of the 15 eye and worened in two eye during the mean follow-up period of 13.6 month.
Concluion
Laer photocoagulation targeted excluively to the feeder veel upplying the idiopathic polypoidal choroidal vaculopathy leion i a afe and effective method and can improve viion in eye in which a erou retinal detachment i preent in the macula. Indocyanine green angiography-guided laer photocoagulation hould be conidered a an optional treatment for idiopathic polypoidal choroidal vaculopathy.
