Cutaneou hypopigmentation following a poterior ub-tenon triamcinolone injection

Purpoe To report a cae of cutaneou kin hypopigmentation following a poterior ub-Tenon triamcinolone acetonide injection for uveiti. Deign Obervational cae report. Method A 28-year-old African American female with Adamantiade-Behcet dieae and panuveiti wa adminitered a poterior ub-Tenon injection of triamcinolone acetonide and developed cutaneou hypopigmentation. Reult The patient developed kin hypopigmentation of the upper eyelid adjacent to the ite of the ub-Tenon injection. Concluion Injection of corticoteroid into the ub-Tenon pace can caue hypopigmentation of the adjacent tiue, epecially in heavily pigmented individual.
