Deign
Obervational cae erie.
Method
We retropectively reviewed the record of three patient een and treated at Duke Eye Center.
Reult
In all three cae, a ignificant rie in IOP occurred within 1 week of intravitreal triamcinolone injection for refractory macular edema. In one patient, a white material wa found in the angle on goniocopy. All three cae required urgical intervention to reduce the IOP.
Concluion
Conidering the early rapid rie in IOP in thee three cae, we ugget that clinician cloely monitor patient after intravitreal triamcinolone injection for the development of acute glaucoma. Additionally, it may be adviable to perform goniocopic examination to look for any abnormal accumulation of material in the angle.
