ytemic remiion of non-Hodgkinʹ lymphoma after intraleional interferon alpha-2B to bilateral conjunctival lymphoma

Purpoe To report the beneficial ytemic effect of a 5-week coure of intraleional interferon α-2b (IFN-A) injection to bilateral conjunctival lymphoma in a patient with relaping non-Hodgkinʹ lymphoma. Deign Interventional cae report. Method A patient in relape with non-Hodgkinʹ lymphoma who declined further ytemic therapy received 1.5-million IU IFN-A injected intraleionally to each of two conjunctival lymphoma to reduce ocular dicomfort. Thi doe wa repeated 10 time over 5 week. Reult Conjunctival, potauricular, and facial leion clinically reolved within 3 month of the tart of treatment. Inguinal lymph node reduced in ize, and the patient reported increaed well-being and le fatigue. ide effect included injection dicomfort and mild flulike ymptom, which were well tolerated. The improvement lated 6 month from the firt IFN-A injection. Concluion Intraleional treatment of conjunctival lymphoma with IFN-A induced diappearance of the tumor and alo had a beneficial ytemic effect.
