ticky eyelid yndrome

Purpoe To report on patient een with an unuual condition affecting the eyelid. The yndrome manifet a a temporary adheion which form between the upper and lower eyelid aociated with laxity of the lower lid retractor. Thi reult in a peculiar cloure of the lid. Deign Retropective cae report. Method Chart of affected patient were reviewed for their clinical hitorie, examination finding, external photograph, and the reult of treatment. Reult Ten conecutive patient with the aociated finding were reviewed. All cae were unilateral. even patient were Aian and three were Caucaian. Nine patient were ymptomatic; of thee, all were treated conervatively except for one who requeted urgery. Two cae are decribed and photograph are hown. Concluion Lower eyelid retractor laxity combined with a temporary adheion between the upper and lower lid reult in the clinical finding of ticky Eyelid yndrome
