Acute zonal occult outer retinopathy in a patient with graft-veru-hot dieae

Purpoe To invetigate the mechanim of bilateral central viion lo in a patient with graft-veru-hot dieae. Deign Obervational cae report. Method A 43-year-old man with graft-veru-hot dieae developed acute painle progreive central viion lo, firt in the left eye and then in the right. The patient underwent lit-lamp biomicrocopy, indirect ophthalmocopy, fluorecein angiography, viual field teting, full-field electroretinography, multifocal electroretinography, and teting for paraneoplatic antibodie. Reult Fundu examination and fluorecein angiography were unremarkable. Goldmann perimetry revealed enlarged blind pot with central cotoma bilaterally. An electroretinogram teting howed aymmetric retinal dyfunction, conitent with acute zonal occult outer retinopathy. No paraneoplatic autoantibodie were detected. The patient continued to have aymmetric progreive viion lo that tabilized over the next 6 month. Concluion Graft-veru-hot dieae hould be included in the autoimmune condition aociated with AZOOR.
