Acute corneal hydrop treated by intracameral injection of perfluoropropane (C3F8) ga

Purpoe To report a cae of acute hydrop with intratromal cleft in a patient of keratoconu with aociated Marfanʹ yndrome, treated with intracameral injection of perfluoropropane (C3F8) ga. Deign Interventional cae report. Method A nonexpanile concentration of perfluoropropane ga (0.2 ml) wa injected intracamerally in the operating room under aeptic precaution. Reult There wa complete and rapid reolution of corneal edema. Concluion Intracameral perfluoropropane ga in nonexpanile concentration may be a ueful modality for treatment of corneal edema in acute corneal hydrop.
