Intravitreal Triamcinolone Acetonide for Choroidal Granuloma in arcoidoi

Purpoe To report the clinical coure of intravitreal triamcinolone acetonide on choroidal granuloma econdary to arcoidoi that wa refractory to ytemic predniolone Deign Interventional cae report. Method A 29-year-old Chinee man with arcoidoi preented with iolated poterior egment involvement in hi left eye a retinal periphlebiti, retinal granuloma, and choroidal granuloma. Retinal periphlebiti and retinal granuloma reponded well to oral corticoteroid but not the choroidal granuloma. It gradually grew in ize and caued a drop in left-eye viion to 20/70. Intravitreal triamcinolone acetonide (4 mg) wa injected three time in total. Reult The choroidal ma began to hrink in ize after the econd injection and completely regreed after the third. The choroidal granuloma became a car, with no angiographic leakage. The patient’ viual acuity improved and remained table at 20/40 at the lat follow-up, 6 month after the lat injection. Concluion Given the encouraging reult, further tudy on intravitreal triamcinolone acetonide for macular and peripapillary choroidal granuloma econdary to ytemic arcoidoi i warranted.
