Macular Hole in Cat cratch Dieae

Purpoe To report the development of a macular hole a a complication of cat cratch dieae. Deign Cae report. Method A 10-year-old girl wa een with unilateral neuroretiniti from erologically confirmed cat cratch dieae. Twelve day later, he developed a macular hole in the involved eye. Fundu photography and optical coherence tomography (OCT) were obtained at preentation and after the development of a macular hole. Reult Fundu photography and OCT on preentation revealed a naal neuroenory detachment and multiple inflammatory foci throughout the macula, including a ubfoveal leion. Fundu photography and OCT 12 day later revealed the development of a partial poterior vitreou detachment and a full thickne macular hole. Concluion Macular hole hould be included among poterior egment complication of cat cratch dieae. In thi cae, the macular hole wa aociated with partial vitreou detachment and a preexiting ubfoveal leion, likely repreenting an inflammatory focu
