Indocyanine Green Angiography of Juvenile X-linked Retinochii

Purpoe In juvenile X-linked retinochii (XLR), fluorecein angiography i uually unremarkable and contribute poorly to the diagnoi. However, indocyanine green (ICG) angiography feature in eye that are affected with XLR were not yet decribed. Deign Retropective obervational cae erie. Method A complete ophthalmologic examination that included ICG angiography wa performed on three unrelated male patient (ix eye) who were 15, 22, and 48 year old. Reult A ditinct hyperfluorecent tellate pattern in the macular area that wa aociated with radial line of hypofluorecence that were centered on the foveola wa oberved on the early phae of ICG examination (ix of ix eye). Thi feature diappeared on the late phae of ICG examination. Concluion On thee ix XLR eye, early phae of ICG examination revealed an unuual radial apect on the macula. Thi finding ugget that ICG angiography may be ueful for the diagnoi of XLR.
