Abstract
Purpoe
To report afety and efficacy outcome of repoitioning poterior dilocated plate haptic lene (PHL) in the ciliary ulcu (C).
Deign
Retropective interventional cae erie.
Method
Fifteen conecutive eye with dilocated PHL repoitioned in the C were reviewed retropectively. Par plana vitrectomy wa required in 12 of 15 cae. The main outcome variable were initial and final bet-corrected viual acuity (BCVA) and length of follow-up.
Reult
All lene remained centered for an average of 48.7 month (range 4 to 99 month) of follow-up with no recurrent dilocation, cytoid macular edema, chronic iriti, or iri chaffing. Initial and final BCVA of 20/40 or better wa attained in 93.3% (14 of 15) and 66.7% (10 of 15) of eye, repectively. Decline of final BCVA wa attributable to econdary eye dieae and not related to repoitioning.
Concluion
Our tudy report dilocated PHL may be managed afely and effectively by placement in the C with long-term tability under certain clinical cenario.
