Explantation of an Acryof Natural Intraocular Len becaue of a Color Viion Diturbance

Purpoe To decribe a patient who complained of color viion diturbance after implantation of a clear intraocular len (IOL) in one eye and a yellow IOL in the other. Deign Interventional cae report. Method A 50-year-old woman complained of binocular imbalance and “yellow viion” in her left eye after implantation of a viible blue light–filtering yellow IOL. A clear IOL had been implanted in her right eye 1 month before. he requeted explantation of the yellow IOL. Reult The yellow IOL wa exchanged for a clear one, which reolved the unbalanced color viion. Concluion Patient may be intolerant of the color diturbance that reult when diimilarly colored IOL are implanted. It i adviable to avoid thi practice.
