Naolacrimal Duct Obtruction Claified by Dacryoendocopy and Treated With Inferior Meatal Dacryorhinotomy: Part II. Inferior Meatal Dacryorhinotomy

Purpoe To report the performance of a newly devied technique, inferior meatal dacryorhinotomy (iDR), for membranou PNLDO (lower PNLDO). Deign Retropective, nonrandomized clinical trial. Method Forty cae (37 patient) who ranged in age from 42 to 89 year old with lower PNLDO were treated by iDR, which i intubation that i aited by dacryoendocope, naal endocope, and radio-frequency calpel. The obtructed ite wa incied with a radio-frequency calpel without oeou ablation, after which ilicone tube were placed temporarily. Reult Potoperative follow-up evaluation howed that the ucce rate wa 87.5% after 6 month to 2 year. Concluion The iDR technique i minimally invaive and effective for lower PNLDO
