Abstract :
Purpoe
To decribe high-peed (4000 axial can/) optical coherence tomography (OCT) finding in a patient with narrow angle.
Deign
Interventional cae report.
Method
A 56-year-old woman wa found to have occludable narrow angle on OCT creening. Thi wa confirmed by goniocopy. Bilateral iridotomy wa performed. Imaging of the angle wa performed with a high-peed OCT prototype before and after iridotomy.
Reult
OCT howed narrow angle bilaterally. Cornea, clera, cleral pur, trabecula, iri, and iri rece were viualized. After iridotomy, the OCT howed reduction of iri concavity and patent iridotomie. Quantitative meaurement of trabecula-iri pace area on the OCT image howed widening of the angle to nonoccludable value.
Concluion
A 1.3-μm wavelength OCT allow noncontact quantitative aement of the angle and may be ueful in the management of narrow-angle glaucoma
