Immunotherapy With Imiquimod 5% Cream for Eyelid Nodular Baal Cell Carcinoma

Purpoe To evaluate the efficacy and afety of topical imiquimod 5% cream for the treatment of eyelid baal cell carcinoma. Deign Two interventional cae report. Method Imiquimod 5% cream wa applied topically once daily, 3 day a week for 8 to 12 week, in two patient affected by eyelid nodular baal cell carcinoma. Patient were followed up clinically with lit-lamp examination for evidence of tumor diappearance or recurrence, and local and ytemic ide effect. Reult Complete clinical repone wa obtained in both patient. No evere local ide effect were oberved. Patient did not how any local recurrence after 1 year. Concluion Topical imiquimod 5% cream eem to be a ueful treatment for eyelid nodular baal cell carcinoma in elected cae, but further long-term tudie are needed to ae the efficacy and afety of thi approach
