Abstract :
Purpoe
Evaluate the effect of viual acuity on color viion teting.
Deign
Univerity baed clinical experimental tudy.
Method
Right eye of 12 healthy ubject were fogged with plu lene to logMAR 1.88 and aeed with D-15 panel, Ihihara, and Hardy-Rand-Rittler (HRR) plate. ubject were teted at leer degree of fogging, 0.1 logMAR interval. The acuity at which 5% of the population tet abnormally wa etimated a follow. The average acuity at which a 10% reduction in correct repone occurred wa determined. From thi, two tandard deviation were ubtracted. Examination device were compared uing repeated meaure analyi of variance.
Reult
Color viion teting did not ignificantly differ from baeline up to logMAR 1.40 (D-15 panel), 1.10 (HRR plate), and 0.72 (Ihihara plate). Teting device were ignificantly different (P < .005).
Concluion
Color viion teting i accurate up to logMAR 1.40 (20/501) with D-15 panel, 1.10 (20/252) with HRR plate, and 0.72 (20/106) with Ihihara plate.
