Ocular Argyroi After Long-Term elf-Application of Eyelah Tint

Purpoe To report cae of ocular argyroi that developed after long-term elf-application of commercially available eyelah tint. Deign Obervational cae erie. Method Cae review, clinicopathologic analyi, and literature review. Reult Three patient developed ocular argyroi after the long-term elf-application of Revlon Profeional Roux Lah and Brow Tint (Colomer UA Corp, New York, New York, UA). Clinical evaluation revealed variou degree of ilver depoition on the upper eyelid, lid margin, caruncle and conjunctiva, and diffue Decemet’ membrane depoit. In one cae, hitologic examination demontrated ilver depoition in the baement membrane and uperficial ubtantia propria of the conjunctiva. Concluion Argyroi can occur after long-term application of readily available eyelah tint, and the depoition of ilver may be permanent. In certain circumtance, conjunctival argyroi may imulate benign and malignant leion, including conjunctival melanoma. Thee product hould only be applied by trained cometologit.
