Method Clinical examination and optical coherence tomography (OCT) evaluation of a patient who experienced pontaneou reolution of a macular microhole. Reult A 62-year-old woman with decreaed viion wa found to have a full-thickne macular microhole with poterior vitreou detachment and an operculum on fundu biomicrocopy and OCT. pontaneou reolution of the microhole wa documented on clinical examination and OCT 3 week after the examination when the patient returned with improved viion and a mall central floater. Concluion Macular microhole can be aociated with poterior vitreou detachment. pontaneou cloure of macular microhole can occur.
