Argon Laer Photoablation of Conjunctival Pigmented Nevu

Purpoe To evaluate the efficacy of an argon laer in the ablation of benign conjunctival pigmented nevi. Deign Interventional cae erie. Method We conducted argon laer ablation for conjunctival pigmented nevu in 30 eye of 28 patient. Laer ablation wa applied directly to the conjunctival pigmented nevu in all patient. All patient were followed up over a period of 12 month. Reult In all patient, the conjunctival leion to which the argon laer wa applied diappeared almot completely within two day after treatment. No recurrence of leion wa detected in any patient during the follow-up period, nor were any conjunctival car or conjunctival injection. Concluion The argon-laer ablation of conjunctival pigmented nevi uniformaly reulted in excellent clinical outcome. Therefore, thi tudy conclude that argon laer ablation i a afe and effective modality for the treatment of benign conjunctival nevi, and thi method could replace the claical urgical procedure.
