Early Optical Coherence Tomography Change After Photodynamic Therapy in Patient With Age-Related Macular Degeneration

Purpoe To evaluate early change after photodynamic therapy (PDT) in patient with age-related macular degeneration (AMD) by optical coherence tomography (OCT). Deign Propective interventional cae erie. Method PDT wa performed on 20 eye of 20 patient who preented with ubfoveal choroidal neovacularization (CNV) attributable to AMD. OCT wa ued to evaluate change at 2, 12, and 24 hour and at 3, 7, 15, and 30 day after therapy. Reult In the firt 24 hour, OCT howed an increae in the ubretinal fluid (F) in all eye and an increae in intraretinal fluid (IF) in 13 eye. On the 15th day and the 30th day after therapy, reduction of F and IF wa oberved in almot all eye. Concluion erial OCT evaluation of patient with ubfoveal CNV attributable to AMD ugget that the initial repone after PDT i an increae in F and IF.
