Optical Coherence Tomography in the Management of Acute Retinopathy of Prematurity

Purpoe To demontrate the microcopic change, in vivo, accompanying tage 4 retinopathy of prematurity. Deign Interventional cae tudy. Method Optical coherence tomography (OCT) of the macula wa performed in a baby with preumed tage 4a retinopathy of prematurity (retinopathy of prematurity). The finding were correlated with clinical taging and video indirect ophthalmocopy. Reult OCT changed the taging of retinopathy of prematurity from 4a to 4b, demontrated intraretinal edema, and objectively confirmed the clinical impreion of dieae progreion. Concluion OCT could be valuable a a new trategy in the taging and urgical management of retinopathy of prematurity.
