Abstract :
Purpoe To detect retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) thickne after a ingle acute primary angle cloure (APAC) attack with normal viual field. Deign Propective, obervational cae tudy. Method Twenty-eight patient who had a ingle unilateral APAC attack aociated with normal viual field at three month after remiion and 28 ingle eye from normal control were enrolled. Duration of APAC attack wa 5.9 ± 2.7 hour. Comparion of average RNFL thickne and RNFL thickne in four quadrant and in 12-o’clock-hour egment of the attacked eye, unaffected fellow eye, and normal control were made uing fat RNFL thickne (3.4) of tratu optical coherence tomography. Reult ignificant difference were demontrated comparing the inferior-quadrant RNFL thicknee for the attacked eye with thoe of the normal control (P = .02) and fellow eye (P = .02) uing one-way analyi of variance with Tukey’ tet. Concluion Inferior region RNFL thickne wa ignificantly decreaed in the attacked eye after an APAC epiode aociated with normal viual field.
